Power Wednesday: Organic Jewel

Hey guys! Welcome back to another power Wednesday blog post. If you are new here, and you don’t know what power Wednesdays are all about, read this post.

In this post we are going to talk about Organic Jewel which is a company that organically produces skin care products here in Harare.

Continue reading for a full review of their products that I have been using.

Liquid rose oil

I started with this one because it’s definitely a favorite. If you had to ask me, I would have to say this is the Jewel of their entire range. It can be mainly used as a moisturizer because the oils that are added to it are highly absorbing and lock in moisture on the skin. The founder of the company said , “…We infuse the rose petals for at leat 3 weeks before selling the product to ensure the antiseptic, antimicrobial and anti inflammatory benefits of rose oil are released from the rose oil. The oil blend  includes argan oil, avocado oil, rosehip oil, etc. ”

Check out my Instagram to see the short video I created on how I use liquid rose oil.

Whipped Shea Butter Cream

By simply looking at it’s texture, this is made with high grade Raw Shea. As explained on their website, they use unrefined oils allowing the whipped butter to have a more fluffy texture. Personally, I have been enjoying it on my hair. Amazing!

Marula Oil

Marula oil has been popular amongst skin care fanatics in the past 2 years or so. It contains fatty acids as-well as antioxidants such as vitamin E which are highly beneficial to the skin. This oil is light weight which makes it also easy to absorb into your skin. I will explain this in a Youtube video which will go Live tomorrow (latest).

Organic Clay Facial mask

Who doesn’t love a good clay mask? I have been using the organic clay mask which contains a base of  bentonite. This will definitely allow you to give yourself a spa treatment in the comfort of your home. Don’t let this pandemic get in your way girl.

Lip Balm

No more dry chapped lips because this organically made jam is perfect for moisturizing your lips. I tried the cool peppermint flavored one and loved it.

These are the products that I have tried so far. I am yet to check out the handmade soap and I will be back with an update.

With any product review, I am very transparent and so this is not just me raving about a random product. I have tried these products and I genuinely have no complains. If each product is used correctly, expect maximum results.

Oh and did I mention the prices? Yeah, they are reasonably prices and note that each product is priced under $5. Don’t sleep on this ladies.

To shop the products, you can check out their website here and alternatively you can contact them via WhatsApp on +263 71 738 1013.

I hope you will have great experience with these products and also support another female owned business while at it.

Thank you for stopping by.
