Autumn/winter 2014 Trends (The basics)

Wondering what big fashion trends will be big in Harare this year? Yah, well, me too.
As each day passes by, mother earth is hinting that sunshine days are coming to an end. And we are getting closer to the windy and cloudy days. Even though we don’t get to experience harsh cold weather storms, its good be prepared. Normally, it’s cold enough to be able to go about your normal business.
Without any further a-do: Here are some of the trends for Autumn/winter 2014.

1)The Knee-length skirt
Keep your knees warm. Be it in a print or slinky black number. I personally love this skirt because I think it’s an all-rounder, you can take straight from the office to church.

2)The over -sized sweater

This is ideal for a busy day. It’s still simple but looks stylish enough to make you look chick without putting too much effort. How you look in them might be fairly challenging.

3)The Wedge sneaker
I spotted this last season and I think would have wanted a pair too. I am yet to learn where I can get a pair in Harare. They are comfortable and warm.

4)Feeling blue?
Instead of the ordinary dull colours, try these different shades of blue and get to play around with chunky neck-pieces, rings etc.
5)The Coat
A coat should be a staple in every gals closet. Also you can either opt for bright colours, in prints or just neutral colours.
