I am back home now after spending the past week in Kariba. If you follow me on Instagram and Facebook, you may have come across some of the pictures from this trip. It was absolute bliss. I kept looking for somewhere I could find a strong WiFi signal but I couldn’t find the perfect spot. So that explains the silence on the blog during the past week.
Moving on to today’s business, Shoe bargain.
“You can never take too much care over the choice of your shoes. Too many women think that they are unimportant, but the real proof of an elegant woman is what is on her feet.” – Christian Dior.
Earlier this year I did a shoe post but today I thought would share an updated version and a slightly different one. Simply because I want these posts to be meaningful and maybe be useful to you guys. I am all about affordable fashion, mainly because where I come from, nobody has the time or money to spend on luxurious shoes. So today I am sharing my top 5 favorite heels, each pair under $50 and where you can get yours too. This is not a Sponsored posts but I just thought it would be good to share some of the tricks I use to buy affordable heels.
1. The lime snake skin sandal
I wear a lot of dark colored clothes. Even though lately I have been trying to create a balance in my closet, I am still drawn to darker shades. So this pair is what I wear when I want to add that pop of color to my outfits. I got this pair from Sole For Soul. They are an online store. You can place your order on their Facebook page. These shoes are imported from the UK. It takes about two weeks for your order to get to Zimbabwe. The last time I ordered my shoes, I paid upon collection at One Stop Fashions along L. Takawira . You can check them out. They are efficient.
2. The Back Sandal
I consider this a wardrobe staple especially if you are drawn to simple styling. This is my go-to item when I want to look like a lady in my boyfriend jeans and a plain white top. Perfectly timeless. I got this pair from Sole For Soul for $30.
3. The Gold Charm
I have had some great memories with this jam right here. You know why? Because it’s an all-rounder. Its easy to transform from a day time look to a night out look. I got this pair from a store called Hidden Closet which was in the basement at Regal Mall. They moved without notice and I don’t know if they are still in business. Alternatively, you can get your pair at Sapatos at Joina City for $48. Also check Cindy’s fashion Corner.
4.Lime and black Select Sandals
I love the design on this beauty. The two colors compliment each other well. I got this pair on sale at Trends Accessories for $30 at the East Gate Mall. This store has also a wide range of shoes, flats included. They do a lot of sales so you may want to pop in from time to time, to scoop yourself a cool bargain.
5. Leopard Print
I don’t own a lot of print clothing. I prefer to wear print in small doses. So these shoes were a perfect fit for me. I also got this pair on sale at Trends Accessories for $15. That was a huge bargain and I didn’t need to think twice when I spotted this pair.
I hope you will find this posts useful. Always remember that you don’t necessarily have to follow every trend when buying shoes. Choose some pieces that will be easily transitioned from one season to the other. That way, you save money and invest in something else.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend friends.
Love & Light.
