The Closet

Little White Dress

Happy Monday lovelies!

Lately I have been trying to create some level of balance in my closet in terms of my color range. On a nomarl day, you are most likely to see me in either black or white clothing.

I bought this dress while I was on a mission to add more color to my closet. I would have picked a different color but oh well… Its going to take some used to. I love the idea that with white dresses, you can wear them pretty much anywhere. You could just throw in a blazer & you’ll be good for the office.

They are easy to style for different occasions, be it for work, church or just dress it down for a laid back Sunday.

I hope you had a wonderful valentines weekend. Mine was an interesting one.

On Friday night, we got to attend the 50 Shades Of Grey movie premier. I have to say, the movie turned out as exactly as I imagined it while I was reading the book. I thought the 2 main characters, Christian Grey (played by  Jamie Dornan) and Anastasia Steele (played by Dakota Johnson) where perfect for each of their roles. The chemistry between the two was just great. I enjoyed every minute of it.

As for the controversy surrounding the airing of the movie in Zimbabwe, I saw nothing hectic in the movie & in my opinion it all goes down to us as individuals to decide to either watch the movie on not. Otherwise I think Ster Kinekor did a great job to air the movie on the same day it was being premièred across the world. The movie ending just left everyone in suspense I must say.

  1. Loving the shoes. And agree about the versatility of the LWD. This is a great look, think it’d be great in a sunshiny yellow too if you want to add colour to your closet.
Unfortunately 50 Shades was banned from screening in Uganda just a day to the premiere can you believe it?! Good thing I had other plans for the day (went on a mini safari which I of course blogged about but imagine how unamused the guys who’d planned to watch it on Valentines were?
