Happy new week!
February is coming to an end and I can’t believe how fast the the time is flying.
Over the past weekend I decided to change things up with my hair. I was getting tired of my previous hair do so I opted for this pixie cut. Special thanks to my friend Marcia for helping a sister out (I owe you). She had to do my hair at 5 in the morning because I had to shoot this look the very same morning. I like how it turned out and I can’t wait to see how long I will pull this one off. Nothing is ever permanent when it comes to hair anyway, (or at least that’s what I believe).
The Tulips Dress Review
This week I will be doing a three-part series dress review, starting with today’s monochrome look. The review will feature dresses by a local brand called Tulips. Tulips is a 100% locally made clothing line which is currently available at Sole4Soul. The range focuses mainly on providing affordable clothing that caters to the petite as well as the plus-size modern woman. The best part is you won’t need to break the bank to get yourself a locally made design as the prices go as low as $18 (I am talking about a dress here.)
The striped black and white dress has a formal feel to it. It makes for such an effortless office look for the modern day woman. If you are going for a more cooperate look, then adding a blazer will definitely give you that boost for a more professional appeal.
I however noticed that the material which was used to make the dress is a bit light. I wish that the material could have been a bit heavier because eventually this would mean the dress will remain in a good condition for a while longer. Being savvy shoppers, when buying clothes, it’s always advisable to buy clothing that last during several seasons.
I can’t wait to show you guys the rest of the designs.
If you aren’t already, please do follow the blog to not miss out on the fashion updates.
Thanks for stopping by.
