Life: The Crippling Effect Of Fear

Can you believe we are already in mid – August? I feel like time is flying by so fast and I am constantly reminding myself to get things done before the year ends.

I know lately on this blog we’ve been talking about fashion a lot lately but in this  post I wanted to share something a bit different

Yesterday while I was getting ready for bed a weird question struck me: Why does fear exist in our hearts?

Like so many things that are mysterious with how God works, fear is feeling that creeps in our minds even when we least expect it. The worst part is it can be crippling if not dealt with.

Fear will convince you that it’s a bad idea to move on because you don’t know what’s ahead, fear will remind you that your business idea is bad because your market is saturated, fear will allow self doubt because you don’t know what’s on the other side. Fear is like a thief that takes away something from you and you may not even notice until it’s too late.

The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid? – Psalms 27:1

Ladies, don’t let fear stop you. Go get what’s yours because it’s going to be beautiful on the other side.

The Look

I love how this suit is easy to style and definitely screams my style. It gives you low key rich aunt vibes with a bit of a sass.  The color was a bonus because it’s perfect on dark skin. The shoes are from Pretty little thing. Remember what we talked about the versatility of suits in this posts? Yeah

This Suit is from a Harare based boutique that caries amazing pieces. To shop it, you can follow this link.

Happy new week.

Remember to not let fear get in your way.

Thank you for stopping by.
